Before
Have your medication list and any recent lab results to hand. Find a quiet spot with good light.

During
Your clinician asks about symptoms, reviews what is on file, and explains what the numbers mean in plain words.

After
A note goes into your record. If tests are ordered, you will be told how and where. Your own doctor keeps view access.
